Mathematical Investigation problem
in math we are learning about mathematical investigations. we were given and we used our people powers to hatch a plan. the question was how many times do you have to walk around the astro-turf to cover the distance of 2 kilometers?
here is a snapshot of what we have done so far.

Jed’s blurb
For Digi Awards we learned about Be The Change. I chose Digital-sandpit and made an animation on Google Slides about kiwis. I had to research about kiwis. I want to inspire people to save them because their population is endangered. The hardest things in my animation was resizing things and figuring out how to stop my animation from lagging. Throughout the process I had lots of changes and delete slides that weren’t great. I got feedback to help make my animation better. My animation shows Be The Change by encouraging people to stop building homes where kiwis live.
Please have a look at my work and give me feedback on these slides below so I may Improve it.

day three for today is badminton
Today we are doing activity three
I am doing some research on badminton today
the research will be what is the name of the sport?
second there will be the aim of the sport and last of all is two rules of the sport
and a photo of me doing it (not in the pool)
so the name of the sport is going to be (you probably guessed) is ... Badminton
the aim of the game is... to get the most amount of points
and two rules (or more) of the game is that you have to hit the shuttlecock over the net, if you are serving then you have to serve diagonally, if serving and out of the inner rectangle then it is out, if it is one or more hit past the serve than and only then on is the piece in the middle not an out bit and last of all the outer recangle , if the shuttlecock lands out of the outer rectangle the other team gets a point and they get to serve, if you win then you go again and then you get to serve, and if you get out then the other team gets a point.
sorry but i could not get the correct pieces of equipment here is the photo (sorry for any convinience) :

Equivillent fractions
We are learning to work with equivillent fractions
what we had to work out was that Ronald and Donald had a birthday and had the same sized cake, Ronald ate 1/4 of his cake and Donald had 4/5 of his cake who had more cake
so we worked it out using the grid Ronald ate 1/4 of his cake so we crossed out 1/4 quarter of his cake
and Donald ate 4/5 of his cake so we crossed out 4/5 of the grid and then we compared them, the answer was... Ronald!!!

at the school the senior syndicate is having a competiton to see how much points we can get so number one and two are worth 4 points and three in worth ten so please comment so that I can see what and where I could I improve in my olympics Presentation that you can see above.
There will be more on the slides later on.
There will be some blank slides.

Usain bolt chart
for reading we are doing a chart for how fast usain bolt is compared to other animals and objects... such as the earth.
Goal Setting
at school today, we are learning about goals and why we have them. first you have to make sure you have a SMART goal. SMART stands for:S-Specific M-Measurable A-Achievable R-Realistic and T-Timely.
so here is a goal table of what I think I should Do from now to the end of the term.

Cyber-smart activity
We Are Learning To: make good blog posts.
At our Cyber-smart lesson we learned how to make good blog posts. So we chose one of our own blog posts and put it into the before slot. then we went into the rubric to see what we could do to complete our lesson. After that we made our posts better, (using the rubric as a guide). Then the last thing I did was I took a screenshot of that and put it in the after slot.

Thinglink and BeFunky
We Are Learning To: use Thinglink and BeFunky.
The grade fives (including me) took a photo and changed their faces using BeFunky. Then we uploaded it to Thinglink to put small dots on our faces, so that if you hovered over the dot, a small sentence will pop up so that you can read it.
