Elf

on Friday, we made an elf and I am going to show you the instructions. first we got a template of a elf hat, an body with clothes and shoes, and two ears. then we coloured them in, in christmas colours. next, we each took a photo of our faces and cut them out. after that, we glued it all together.Have a look at the one that I made below!!!

simplifying ratios

here, we are learning to simplify ratios. how do you simplify a ratio? well, it is easy. you find the highest common factor of the two numbers of the ratio and you divide it by the highest common factor. confusing? for example, 12 to 8 or 12:8 the highest common factor is 4 so you divide both of them by 4 and that equals 3 to 2 or 3:2. some of them cannot be simplified like 4:5 or 3:2. an easy way to figure out if you can simplify it is if both the numbers are prime numbers or if the highest number is and prime.

on Wednesday last week, we had a school camp in Glentui meadows.we played lots of games there. my favourite part was the dam building.

Today, the senior syndicate had top team.

First, we went into our teams. Next, we had morning tea. After that we did the activities, my favourite is called gutter ball, after we did all of the activities, we had lunch. after we had lunch, we had to write what we did at top team and we have 15 minutes to do it, the recount that I am talking about is this one.

My favourite thing that I did today was the gutter ball because we we bet the other team by 10 points

So use your imagination and fly on a broom and go to Hogwarts (it is illegal to use magic out of hogwarts school grounds until you are the age of 13), you can also defeat dementors and ghouls and ghosts and witches and boggarts, that can easily be beaten by the spell, riddikulus.

  Did you also know, that these stick-tacular sticks can be blindingly amazing ornaments? You could attach a ribbon to the stick after decorating it and hang it up on your Christmas tree. And maybe if you could have it to stand up by itself you can decorate the stick and have lots of them around your house, it is almost like having brightly coloured candles all around your house, except it doesn't produce light and warmth ( I’m sorry to say(unless you put it on fire with wax on the outside).). With all the decorations all around your house you will have lots of friends and they will all come in with the warm welcome of the fantastic sticks.

  As well as all that, you can have… a … STICK PARTY!!! You can invite friends and family to the party and all of them have to each bring a special stick and play fun games like spin the stick, and the children can play with imaginary swords, magical wands and steel cutting lightsabers. And the people can get extra sticks to paint to make more ornaments that your house will be as bright as the brightest sun in the whole entire universe!!!

  Overall I think that you can easily defeat Lord Voldemort because you can have waves of stick parties, lots of ornaments and destroy the dementors by using magic. So in 53 seconds immediately say all the spells in the book and buy a wand from your local wand store. Say all the spells again and you will be congratulated.
