Autumn Poem

a few weeks ago, we wrote a poem about Autumn. read the rest to see my Autumn Poem.

Looking Forward To Autumn

I can’t wait to smell the soft, warm and mouthwatering chicken roasting in a Blazing and boiling oven.

I can’t wait to taste the sweet maple syrup on the warm circular pancakes all stacked on top of each other.

I can’t wait to see the the colourful crisp leaves plummeting down onto the solid soil along with acorns.

Here comes Autumn.

I can’t wait to feel the fresh cold air swirling and whirling around me as I stroll along the stone pavement.

I can’t wait to hear the scrumptious pumpkin soup bubbling in the pot with sour cream and the wooden spoon scraping the bowls.

Here comes Autumn.

Autumn poem

This is my Autumn poem
Goodbye warm breezes, hello cool winds.
Goodbye long Summer breaks, hello piles and piles of work.
Goodbye 30 degree days at the beach, hello cold 0 degree
outdoors.
Goodbye photosynthesising green leaves, hello the raking of
the dead brown fronds.
Goodbye delicious durian flavoured ice-blocks and lime
flavoured, ice-creams,
hello appetizing warm noodles in delicious soup.
Goodbye amusing outdoor supper, hello toasty indoor
feasts.
Goodbye incandescent sun, hello dim pale moon.
Goodbye long sizzling days, hello long boring nights.
Goodbye Summer, hello Autumn.

5. Attempt: Small multicoloured leaves of all shapes and sizes gracefully fall from the tall brown trees of the forest. It also gets colder and windier in Autumn because freezing Winter is coming.Autumn is Starting to get so cold that you see people with their white dragon breath. There are longer black, dark nights which are as dark as the feathers of a crow and shorter luminous and bioluminescent days that are as bright as a lightbulb because the sun goes down earlier, earlier than the crowing of the rooster. We also have Daylight saving to assist our daily routine.
