Dark Night Art

For the last pert of term, we have been learning about weather. We have made a piece of art of a very stormy night. it took 2 art sessions. On the first day, we made the silhouette by drawing on a piece of black paper and cutting it out. Then, we dyed a piece of A3 paper with dark blue, black and light blue. On the next day, we made lightning with white paint. We had to remember that lightning is not thick. then we made the storm cloud. We made the clouds my dabbing the paper with black paint. Then, we glued the silhouette onto the dyed piece of paper.
